Summer Travels | Intro

if you haven't noticed, i was a little all over the country this summer. i wouldn't have it any other way. at times it has been stressful, but i was able to see two of my top three places in the country. and that in itself is a wonderful thing.

i am very fortunate to have friends all over america, and that makes travel much easier and cheaper.  points for college because i don't know any other way to bring so many people from different places together for quality bonding.

and so this summer, i packed my suitcase, left my little home (okay its actually just a mattress as my sisters house) in tennessee and i headed to Texas. since leaving texas i have been all over the east coast, the west and randoms spots in between. i lived out of the same orange suitcase and carried a ukulele with me all around. i have been in six airports, and have driven a frillion miles. (thats a lot of miles.) i have been able to visit two of my top three cities and a bunch a didn't even know i wanted to visit. the list gets longer every time i go somewhere.

not everything is roses when you are constantly on the road. i think i went into all this with unreal expectations. but even on the days when its rough, and i haven't washed my hair or had my coffee, i like to think of all the really awesome things i saw this summer. things that God created and are untouched by man. beautiful mountains and beautiful waters. and when you are thinking about how great God is, its sort of hard to think about your problems. i guess thats the tip i have from all this traveling.

so i am so excited to share all these travels with you! its going to be fun. right now here is one of my favorite pictures from my trip to texas. get ready kids...
